To be Successful

Life is difficult. There is absolutely no doubt about it. At times, it is perplexing. Because of this, it’s just a common thing to hear your friend lamenting about how difficult her married life is, her finances, even herself is a problem. This plea is definitely an indirect call for help and it works almost at all times. The fact that she chose you to hear her cry on things means she sees you as a possible solution to your problem.

On the other side, there are those proud people who would kill themselves before they get help from other people or to get any form of assistance, despite the obviousness that they couldn’t manage or cope with the ongoing trials and problems that they are encountering. Thus, you would always hear them say, “I can still manage” or “Everything is under control.” Those proud people are allergic to seeking help from other people simply because their pride told them not to.

Here, we have two different personalities, one who gets help and always gets help from others, and the other one who doesn’t want others to help him. Will they make it through life? Of having a secured future? The fact is, both really have equal chances of ending up a mess rather than be successful.

If that is the case, what must be done in order to succeed in life? What is there to understand concerning life then? And the undeniable thing is that successful people do not even know the true components of a successful man. One would say that he is successful, others would object. There is no certainty as to what is best for each of us. But one thing is certain, man’s existence on earth is short and that life passes like a shadow.

As to what man can do, there is no guarantee of success. Then what should man do in order to survive and be successful in this complicated life? It’s God. It is easy to recognize those who trust and love God. These are people who do not brag to what they can do and always do. These are people who do not always depend on others for their problems. These people believe God is always with them that is why they can survive any kind of hardship and trial. I can tell that these are the real successful people. No matter how difficult or burdened these successful people are, they ought to obey God’s teachings and refuse to do wrong or evil.

Leave all things to God. Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you. If one does that, in no time he shall discover and experience that life isn’t that hard anymore to depend solely on other people. He shall also see that it isn’t painful to seek help sometimes especially when you cannot endure anymore. He shall realize that life isn’t that bad and threatening. He shall see that living a life of obedience to God’s Word is a wonderful thing. Successful people are happy people. Money isn’t the measure, happiness is.

Above all, knowing that God is in your side, carrying you through every circumstance as you walk with Him in total submission and obedience, you are definitely on your way to success.
