Our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name.

- Psalms 33:21

One significant problem concerning our faith is reliance upon personal experience. Although the Lord’s answers are cause for celebration, you must be careful not to base your confidence on individual cases.

You were created to glorify the Lord, but not all of your requests are designed to honor Him. God alone knows how to answer you so that His provision magnifies His name above all else. That is why He meets your needs often in unusual or unexpected ways. In such instances you know the Lord has worked sovereignty, and your praise is amplified. God always responds to your faith so that you are conformed to the image of Christ.

Though marred by sin, you are being molded into Christ-likeness. Thus, God’s focus is greater on transforming you into Christ’s image than on your requests. So, how does faith works in you? With faith, it makes you understand the plans of God. It is impossible to hold on to God’s promises without faith. You can’t stand upon His word without faith.

Another thing that faith does is assurance. If you have faith in your heart, there is nothing that God will not do. Your faith shall make you see what God wants you to see. If you remain in His word, your faith will be more than enough to delete all your doubts and anxieties.

With faith, transformation is attainable. There’s just nothing that you cannot do when you have faith. It becomes a positive machinery of your life in performing transformation. By and by you will improve and will seek excellence in your life. Transformation gets friendly when your faith tells you that you are doing a good job.

Faith, empowers you, motivates you, and it fuels you. Things that surround you might pull you down but if you have faith in the Lord His hands will be upon you. Though things might not happen the way you wanted it to be, with faith you can be sure that all things work together for good. The Lord becomes more visible when your faith is powerful over your doubts. Therefore, never let your faith get dull. How will you then empower your faith?

Your greatest asset, which is your faith, can be consolidated through your daily dose of God’s word. The word of God shall make you scrutinize the faith that you have. When you are filled with the promises of God, you are maximizing your asset- faith. The Word of God shall fuel you and it will empower you. It gives your faith a sort of its daily vitamins that will nourish and increase it. It will also guard your heart from fears and doubts.

Being aware of the power of the foundation of your faith opens up your eyes to the truth of what your faith can really do for you. When you place your confidence in God, your faith depends on His criteria, not yours.

“To see is to believe”, this is a phrase popularized by Ripley. Almost everyone knows it, and maybe you also do. This has been a principle for many. I remember seeing a lot of people using this as their motto in life since I was young. In reality, these words mean a lot to us right? This phrase has made an impact to some people’s lives. You might be one of them.

Sad to say, most of us have taken these words and lived with it. It has become part of our daily lives. It greatly affects our principles, our feelings, and our actions. And since we got so used to it, we can’t afford to give up this principle.

But is it worth to keep this principle in our lives? Will it do something good to us? For some instances, yes it could, so that we do not put much hope in some things we can’t be assured of. But how about the things that are unseen; the things that we can’t see but gives us all the reasons for us to believe in, the divine authority who has the will to help us and direct our lives if we only allow Him to do so? Like God?

I know most of us do not believe in God because nobody in our generation has seen him face to face yet. He isn’t like Superman who can come out right away when we need help, or like anyone from the famous comic super heroes who can protect us from evil. But one thing’s for sure, He exists.

Though He cannot be seen literally in our present time, there have been a lot of evidences that will prove that He is real. He has done so many miracles, and a lot of people have felt His presence. He created the world we live in and created us. He provided miraculous healing for many and changed a lot of people’s lives. Just come to think of it, how can a big explosion ever make a very wonderful and perfect place to live in? How can someone heal a person with an incurable sickness? How can someone raise a person from death to life? These are the things that we can never explain no matter how hard we try. And these things have been possible because of God.

The existence of the Lord does not depend on the things that we see. It just becomes evident on what we feel. Words will never be enough to explain how majestically and miraculously His hands work. But if you want to feel that there is Someone with a divine power who loves and protects you, and cares for you, all it takes is to simply believe that there is God and it will be his work to move and do wonders and miracles in your life. I challenge you to just start by having a little faith, and believe in the power of God, and he will start something great you will not believe it could ever happen in your life.
