Many people always find means to obtain joy but their attempts lead to no avail.  Once a famous actress named Marilyn Monroe created the most shocking global news which appalled many, “A FAMOUS SEX SYMBOL COMMITTED SUICIDE.”   A beautiful woman often sought after by men, who had reached   popularity, power to captivate the lust of sinful men, pride to be considered as one of the sexiest women, prestige to have a great edge over many because of flawless, smooth complexion, still did not find peace.  Her life was devoid of love and happiness.   Ernest Hemingway, the author of the famous novel, “The Old Man and the Sea,” also committed suicide because of his depression…

We are created by God for a purpose, to love and serve Him. Once we surrender our lives to Him, we will be filled with His divine presence. This is the real secret of joy.

He is our perfect peace which will fill our minds with real contentment and peace. He is our Great Counselor who will always say, “Have faith in Him.”

Our faith in Him will give us the confident assurance that He will never leave us nor forsake us.  His love builds us up to be more optimistic in life. We will not dwell on gloom and negative thoughts. .   He will inspire us to be more loving and caring.   By merely counting His matchless blessings daily, we will be greatly refreshed and be obligated to share His bounty.

His perfect love casts out all fears and insecurities. His promises in the Bible are given to all of us which have a guarantee that He will always fulfill because He always plan the best for us.

Joyful people always have the habit of prayer, praise, and thanksgiving to Him. The hearts of those who always worship and seek the Lord rejoice. We must look to the Lord and His strength, seek His face always.  David mentioned in Psalm 51:11-12 “Do not cast me from your presence or take the Holy Spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.” Away from the Lord’s presence, there will always be gloom and forlorn.

King Saul had suicidal tendencies because he stayed away from the Lord’s presence. Once a man succumbed to the temptation of popularity, power, prestige, amassment of wealth, he finds himself so empty and devoid of peace.  He constantly warns us, “What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul” (Mark 8:36)? Our soul is very important to Him.  He wants our soul to have unspeakable joy and full of glory.

Always go to the Presence of the Lord, He is our everlasting joy and delight.
